Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Please read these terms carefully before using DraftScent. They govern your use of our platform, creator program, and order fulfilment services.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DraftScent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Use of the Platform
DraftScent is a fragrance composition and commerce platform. You may use it for personal and commercial purposes (as a creator) in accordance with these terms. You may not use the platform to infringe on intellectual property rights, engage in fraud, or transmit harmful content.
Creator Program
Creators are independent individuals who compose and publish fragrances on DraftScent. Founding class creators earn a 25% royalty on each bottle sold. Royalties are paid monthly, subject to a minimum threshold of €50. DraftScent reserves the right to remove compositions that violate our quality or content standards.
Orders and Fulfillment
All compositions are hand-blended to order in Grasse, France. Production time is 7–10 business days; shipping is an additional 3–5 days for Europe, 7–10 days internationally. We will notify you of any delays. Refunds are available within 14 days of delivery for unopened items.
Intellectual Property
Fragrance compositions created through the DraftScent builder are owned by the user who created them. Creator-published scents retain the creator's intellectual property rights, with DraftScent holding a non-exclusive licence to sell and distribute them on the platform.
Limitation of Liability
DraftScent is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, unless you are a consumer in another EU member state, in which case the courts of your country of residence may also have jurisdiction.
